Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer threaten to boycott proceedings

IHC allows Imran Khan–lawyer meeting in £190m case hearing

ISLAMABAD:  The lawyer of the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi threatened to boycott the proceedings if the acquittal petitions are not scheduled for Monday, September 22.

The Islamabad High Court heard various petitions for the early scheduling of the acquittal petitions of the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana case.

Lawyer Salman Safdar took the stand that our petitions should be scheduled for Monday; otherwise, I will not come to court again in this case.

We are having to face the pressure of the courts, but cases are not being filed. The trial of the case is being conducted in a hurry.

If the petition is not filed by Monday, the decision will be made by the session court. Justice Inam Amin Minhas said that I have many cases on Monday, but I will see.

After looking at the roster, it will be announced when the acquittal case will be filed.
