ISLAMABAD: In a recent crackdown against illegal liquor trade, Islamabad police have arrested two suspects, Danish Shamshad and Arshad Shehzad, in the Sangjani region.
The police claim the suspects were working a bogus alcohol facility in a leased house in Sarai Kharbuza. Officials confiscated nearly 650 bottles of alcohol during the Islamabad booze raid. Similarly taken were stickers, production machinery, and empty bottles utilized in the illegal activity.
SSP Shoaib Khan informed the court that the suspects had been taken into custody, and further inquiry is ongoing to dismantle the supply chain tied to the illegal trade.
Additionally, Police detained several people for selling narcotics and possessing unlawful weapons in a different Islamabad crackdown. To halt the proliferation of illegal drugs in the city, Islamabad police authorities are asking everyone to report anything suspicious they witness.

Reports indicated that the Anti-Theft Team Circle A conducted the raid against betel nut smuggling at Karachi Port, during which 463.200 kilograms of damaging betel nut were confiscated by law enforcement.
Pakistan Railway Police officers apprehended the suspects red-handed as they were attempting to haul containers of betel nut from the KBX warehouse at Karachi Port using pushcarts.
Acting quickly, Pakistan Railway Police apprehended two suspects, Siraj and Niaz Ahmed. The authorities immediately confiscated the unlawful items.
