ISLAMABAD: In a move aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility, the Islamabad Capital Police has rolled out an online facility for residents of the federal capital to obtain their learner’s permit for driving.

Motorists now have the option to apply for an online learner permit after undergoing a medical examination at the traffic office, as per a spokesperson for the capital police. This newly launched service is easily accessible through the official website of the Islamabad Capital Police, offering a seamless application process.

The initiative comes following the directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, reflecting the police force’s commitment to modernizing and streamlining administrative processes for the public’s convenience.

This initiative is particularly beneficial for individuals seeking to obtain a driving license, allowing them to conveniently apply for an online learner permit after completing a medical examination directly from the comfort of their homes.

In a recent development earlier this month, the capital police also introduced a virtual driving license facility, further enhancing the digitization of administrative services.
