ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a three-day spring festival 2025 in Islamabad. The festival is scheduled to take place between February 25 to 27, 2025.
The spring festival will showcase various entertainment activities to attract the public and promote Pakistans’s heritage and traditions.
The event will feature food vendors, army band performances, and a procession led by the Islamabad Police and Rangers, according to the Interior Ministry. Rangers will perform a camel platoon performance, and the Islamabad Police will also rehearse a torch procession.
Naqvi oversaw a high-level conference to discuss festival preparations, emphasizing that it would not only honor Pakistan’s cultural diversity but also provide the outside community with a favorable impression of the nation.
Business executives and officials from other countries have been invited to join in the celebrations and take in Pakistan’s colorful customs.
Several departments are working together to make the festival a success, and authorities are completing plans to guarantee a safe and well-run event.
Fireworks, tent-pegging, and cultural dance performances are additional highlights of the event.
