ISLAMABAD: A budget of Rs. 1.2 million has been approved to deal with the rat problem at Parliament House, here on Monday.
As per the media reports, on the direction of the Ministry of Interior, the National Assembly Secretariat and the Senate Secretariat have directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to resolve the issue.
In order to effectively deal with the infestation, it is recommended to hire private companies for this task.
In response, the CDA has decided to invite bids from private firms specializing in pest control to carry out rodent eradication efforts in the Parliament House premises.
