Lahore airport closed for flights due dense smog & fog

LAHORE: Lahore Airport was shrouded in dense fog and smog in provincial capital, here on Monday night.

Visibility on the runway was reduced to 200 meters. Flights coming to Lahore were not allowed to land at Lahore Airport. Air Blue Flight PA 411 from Dubai to Lahore was not allowed to land at Lahore Airport. Flight PA 406 arriving at Lahore Airport from Karachi was not allowed to land.

The pilots of these two flights were directed to land at Islamabad Airport.
