Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly prevails over the upper parts of the country.
Under these weather conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Kasur, Hafizabad and Lahore on Friday night and Saturday. Extremely hot weather is expected in central/southern districts with gusty winds in the afternoon. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the province.
