PESHAWAR: In a recent development, the JUI-F central leader Mufti Kifayatullah has lost the battle of life after fighting for 2 weeks in the hospital due to his son’s firing in Malakand.
According to the police officials, the JUI-F leader sustained his injuries after going through several treatments in a private hospital in Islamabad.
Earlier, Mufti Kifayatullah’s son, Mutasim Billah, opened fire on his family at home two weeks ago, in which Mufti Kifayat got severely injured, while his two daughters and one son died.
His wife also sustained injuries and was later shifted to the same hospital as Mufti KifayatUllah.
According to Levies officials, the firing incident took place at the house of JUI-F district chief Mufti Kifayatullah in Batkhela tehsil of Malakand.
However, the police officials have not released any statement regarding the reason that led to such a brutal attack.
