NADRA announces easy registration process for children under 18

Govt announces new rule for illegal Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a procedure for obtaining a juvenile card for children under the age of 18, according to which parents or guardians can get this card made from NADRA registration centers.

According to the procedure issued by NADRA, first the father or guardian will have to submit a token fee, in the second stage, the token will be obtained, after which the photograph, fingerprints and other necessary information of the child concerned will be obtained in the third stage.

In the fourth stage, the parent or guardian will be verified, in the fifth stage, data entry will be done, while in the sixth stage, fingerprints will be verified from the approval officer.

In the seventh stage, an online fee will be submitted, after which the juvenile card can be received at the appointed time in the eighth and final stage.

Some necessary conditions have also been set for submitting the application. The application for a juvenile card can be submitted to the NADRA center along with one of the father, mother or legal guardian.

It is necessary to bring the computerized birth certificate of the child issued by the Union Council or Municipal Committee.

The normal fee for the juvenile card has been set at Rs. 750 and the card will be provided within 31 days, the urgent fee is Rs. 1500 under which the card will be received in 23 days, while the executive fee has been set at Rs. 2500 and the card can be obtained in 9 days.
