No private pilgrim to miss Hajj this year

Govt announces final date for Hajj dues submission

ISLAMABAD: No private pilgrim will be deprived of Hajj this year. Private Hajj operators have completed the booking of all pilgrims before the deadline.

Good news has come for Hajj pilgrims managed by private Hajj operators. There is no fear of any private pilgrim being deprived of Hajj this year. Private Hajj operators have completed the booking of all pilgrims before the government deadline.

According to officials, private Hajj organizers transferred 100 percent of the Hajj pilgrims’ money to Saudi Arabia on time, after which payments for the pilgrims’ accommodation, food and all other necessary services have also been completed.

Sources say that accommodation bookings in Mina have also been made for private Hajj pilgrims. This has eliminated all major concerns regarding Hajj arrangements.

It should be noted that last year, more than 63,000 private pilgrims were deprived of Hajj due to non-timely transfer of funds. This led to a strong public reaction. In this context, the government had set strict supervision and clear deadlines for private Hajj operators this year.

The government had instructed private Hajj operators to complete all financial and administrative matters by December 31. Private Hajj organizers implemented this and fulfilled all the requirements before the deadline.

Officials say that this timely arrangement will not only facilitate the Hajj pilgrims. It will also ensure that the difficulties faced last year will not be repeated.
