No progress on 28th Constitutional Amendment yet: Atta Tarar

Pakistan stands firm on sovereignty, rejects India’s allegations: Info Minister Tarar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that there has been no progress on the 28th Constitutional Amendment yet.

He said that when the government has to bring an amendment, it will consult the coalition parties.

During a conversation with a private TV, Information Minister Atta Tarar, in response to a question about the 28th Constitutional Amendment, said that nothing has been officially discussed regarding this amendment yet, nor has any draft been prepared.

He said that after the 27th Amendment, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the suggestions made by the MQM regarding local bodies are in our mind, and we also supported it.

Similarly, NFC will not be tampered with without the consent of the provinces.
