Islamabad: Pakistan Railways has announced to run a special train for summer holidays keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers during the holidays, here on Friday.
The newly introduced “Summer Vacation Special Train” will run between Karachi and Rawalpindi. The special train will leave Karachi at 8:45 PM and is expected to reach Lahore at 3:40 PM the next day.
The special train will start its first journey from Rawalpindi on July 5 at 12:30 PM.
The train is equipped with 17 coaches to cater to different needs of passengers.
The coaches include 2 AC Business Class Vans, 2 AC Standard Class, 12 Economy Class Coaches and 1 Power Van.
