ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate meetings with the foreign ministers of Türkiye and Egypt, focusing on bilateral ties and the evolving regional situation.
According to the Foreign Office of Pakistan, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was received at the Foreign Office, where both sides reaffirmed strong Pakistan-Türkiye relations.
The discussions also covered regional developments, including the situation in Iran.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and diplomacy to ensure peace and stability, while agreeing to enhance regional cooperation and harmony.
Earlier, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty also met Ishaq Dar after arriving in Islamabad. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand cooperation, along with an exchange of views on regional developments.
The meetings highlight Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with key regional partners amid rising geopolitical tensions.
