ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in different parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be cold in the mountainous areas at night and in the morning.
In addition to partly cloudy weather, rain is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain dry in Islamabad and its surroundings.
The weather will remain cold in Murree, Galiyat and its surroundings, while fog is likely to remain in Sialkot and its surroundings at night. The weather will remain dry and cold in most districts of Sindh and Balochistan.
Rain is expected at a few places in Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Swat, Malakand and Kurram, and rain has been expected at a few places in different areas of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
During the last 24 hours, the weather has been dry in most parts of the country, while it has been cold in the mountainous areas.
On the other hand, the number of patients suffering from asthma, allergies, fever and respiratory diseases has started increasing in Karachi due to dry weather, coolness at night and heat during the day.
Medical experts say that dusty air, garbage burning and poor sanitation arrangements have further worsened the situation. A significant increase in asthma, fever, malaria and dengue patients is being seen in public and private hospitals in Karachi.
