Following a battery of tests that the hospital deemed unambiguous, the 76-year-old former minister was returned to custody.

Today again he complained of chest pains and was taken to RIC where he will undergo medical treatment.

Further updates on his medical status will be provided as information becomes available.

Elahi is among several PTI leaders and workers who have been arrested amid the state’s crackdown on the PTI leadership following the violent riots in the country after Imran’s first arrest on May 9.
