Peshawar: The PMD stated that from February 29 to March 3, heavy to extremely heavy widespread rain windstorms and thunderstorms, and heavy snowfall over the hills are predicted in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Bajaur, Karak, Khyber, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Kurram, Waziristan, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan. It went on, “Isolated hailstorms are also likely during the period.”

Heavy to extremely heavy widespread rain, windstorms, thunderstorms, and snowfall are predicted for Gilgit-Baltistan/Azad Jammu Kashmir from February 29 to March 3.
This includes snowfall in places like Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar, Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur. During this time, isolated hailstorms are also possible.
