ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced that its direct Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad flight service will resume starting from July 3, 2026.
The new flights will open up a much-needed air bridge between Pakistan and China, offering travelers a quicker and more convenient means to get between the two capitals.
The new direct flights come as there’s a rising demand for easy travel opportunities between the two countries among students, business managers, tourists, academicians, and families alike.
Travelers will now be able to drastically cut down the time spent traveling compared to connecting flights, with a flight between Islamabad and Beijing set to be about five hours and 35 minutes.
Direct Travel Returns Between Pakistan and China
The launch of the Islamabad-Beijing route once again is the latest effort to establish air links between Pakistan and China, two countries with a profound strategic alliance in the realms of economy, politics, and education.
Flight schedules available on the websites show that the resumption of PIA’s direct Beijing flight is scheduled to commence from July 3rd and will add to the existing travel options on the same route.
