MUZAFFARABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is set to introduce a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq.
According to sources, the top leadership of the PPP has instructed the members of the assembly to reach Muzaffarabad immediately.
Sources say that the members have signed the no-confidence motion resolution, and the name of the new leader of the house will be written on the no-confidence motion at the last minute.
Sources say that Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has also started farewell meetings with his staff, while PPP Azad Kashmir President Chaudhry Yasin is being described as a favorite person for the Prime Minister.
According to sources, the PML-N will support the PPP in the no-confidence motion, and the no-confidence motion is likely to be submitted today.
Sources say that the no-confidence motion was delayed due to constitutional amendments in Pakistan.
Sources say that a simple majority of 27 votes is required for a no-confidence motion; however, the PPP is claiming the support of more than 36 members for the no-confidence motion in the Azad Kashmir Assembly.
