President Zardari travels to Lisbon to express condolences on Prince Karim Aga Khan’s passing

ISLAMABAD: In a show of solidarity and respect, President Asif Ali Zardari has left for Lisbon to express his condolences on the passing away of Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslim community.

According to a prviate news channel, President Zardari will meet Prince Rahim Aga Khan, the successor of the late Aga Khan IV, during his visit and express his condolences to him.

In Lisbon, the President will also meet Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, which will further strengthen diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Portugal.

The visit highlights the importance of maintaining warm relations with world leaders in times of grief, as President Zardari has expressed Pakistan’s condolences on the loss of a distinguished international figure.
