PTI names 43-member executive council for Lahore

PTI withdraws PAC, announces boycott of all committee meetings

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a 43-member executive council for Lahore, here on Sunday.

PTI Lahore President Sheikh Imtiaz has issued a notification for the formation of a 43-member executive council for the city. The council includes MLAs, ticket holders and senior party leaders.

Prominent members of the executive council include Sardar Latif Khosa, Alia Hamza, Shehzad Farooq, Usman Hamza, Ali Ijaz Buttar, Afzal Azim Pahat, Rana Javed, Javed Umar, and Malik Tauseef Abbas Khokhar.

Other notable members include Yasir Gilani, Owais Anjum, Ali Imtiaz Waraich, Hafiz Farhat Abbas, Salman Akram Raja, and D. Yasmin Rashid.

Additionally, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Chaudhry Asghar Gujjar, Ahmar Bhatti, Azam Khan Niazi, and Azimullah Khan have also been nominated as members of the Executive Council.

The council further includes Farrukh Javed, Shabbir Ahmed, Yusuf Mayo, Khalid Gujjar, Nadeem Abbas Bara, and Haroon Akbar.

The Executive Council is entrusted with the task of reviving and strengthening the party in Lahore and ensuring the implementation of the directives of PTI founder Imran Khan.
