LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has given great good news to motorcyclists.
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, while sharing a social media post, said that it has been decided to abolish the transfer fee for motorcycles up to 150 cc to provide relief in fuel prices.
The government has announced several important measures and relief packages for motorcyclists in Punjab in April-May 2026, which are aimed at ensuring economic convenience to the common man and traffic safety.
Important announcements for motorcyclists (2026):
Subsidy on petrol: Registered motorcycle owners will be given a subsidy of Rs. 100 per liter on petrol up to 20 liters per month.
Registration and Transfer Fee Waiver: Motorcycle transfer fee (Rs. 605), additional registration mark fee (Rs. 1000) and smart card fee (Rs. 1300) have been waived from April 6 to May 5, 2026.
How to get subsidy: Citizens can apply for subsidy through the “Maryam Ko Bataye” app, helpline 1000 or the official web portal.
