LAHORE: Punjab University has released the schedule for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 and Spring vacations.
The university will remain completely closed on the occasion of Eid from Friday, March 20 to Monday, March 23. During this time, all teaching and administrative departments, offices, institutions, colleges and schools will remain closed. Regular classes and academic activities will be suspended during the Eid days.
Immediately after Eid, the university will observe Spring vacations from March 24 to March 27. All academic departments and offices will remain closed on these days as well. The administrative staff will resume duty from March 24 so that official work and academic arrangements continue without disruption. Classes and academic activities will resume from Monday, March 30.
In a notification issued under the signature of Registrar Dr. Ahmed Islam, the university leadership and relevant offices have been directed to provide complete information about the holidays to students and staff. The university has advised students and staff to plan their routine and travel according to the announced dates so that there is no problem.
