ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of 8 bail applications filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan till tomorrow.
A 3-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, including Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Shafi Siddiqui, heard Imran Khan’s applications.
PTI founder Salman Safdar appeared during the hearing. Chief Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that he could not see some of the documents submitted by the accused.
On this occasion, the Chief Justice said that it would be better to adjourn the hearing of the case until 11:30 tomorrow so that all parties get a chance.
Lawyer Imran Khan explained that the documents submitted only include court decisions; however, the Chief Justice said that it is necessary to review all the documents, and whichever party has to present any material should submit it today.
Furthermore, the Chief Justice directed that the prosecution also review the documents submitted by the PTI founder. The court adjourned the hearing until tomorrow and instructed all parties to appear in a prepared manner.
