SC dismisses Gandapur’s plea seeking meeting with Imran Khan

Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s petition for a meeting with Imran Khan was returned with objections from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

A petition was filed in the Supreme Court regarding the issue of not allowing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to meet PTI founder Imran Khan.

The petition, making the federal and Punjab governments parties, has taken the position that despite the court order, the PTI founder is not being met, although a meeting with the party’s founding leader is indispensable for consultation.

The petition filed in the Supreme Court has requested that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister be allowed to meet the PTI founder.

According to sources, the application filed by Ali Amin Gandapur was returned by the Registrar’s Office with objections. The Registrar’s Office has taken the position that the signature on the power of attorney is not available, due to which the application is not admissible.
