Train service is Balochistan restored

QUETTA: Train service in Balochistan restarted yesterday, which had been suspended for some time. The decision came as part of efforts to facilitate transport and ease daily movement for people on the critical rail routes in the province.

It is said that the authorities conducted necessary safety checks on rail routes before starting operations. The authorities have cleared affected areas and opened up important routes inside and outside Balochistan. As a consequence, people have been able to board trains again.

It is stated that trains operated on normal schedules. Furthermore, authorities also kept monitoring operations on various routes.

This helped travelers to face fewer problems when traveling via rail networks. Moreover, this decision proved helpful for the economy of the region connected through these rail routes.

The officials told people to keep following official statements for updated information about timetables.

The railway staff facilitated passengers’ boarding at busy stations. Besides, security arrangements were strengthened on all functioning routes.

On their part, the officials advise passengers to comply with instructions from the railway department. Officials assured people of providing information on the basis of railway network communication channels.
