ISLAMABAD: With Eid al-Adha holidays in sight, people are now wondering if the upcoming Eid holiday will see an end to the extreme heat wave that has been raging on in recent days.

According to the latest weather predictions by Accuweather, it seems that no rain is likely to occur in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad for at least the next few days, with hot and dry weather conditions prevailing in them.

In Karachi, conditions are likely to remain warm and humid with hazed sunshines with temperatures going up to 36 degrees Celsius and the “feels like” temperatures going up to as much as 41 degrees.

The city is also expected to receive winds blowing from west-southwest with zero chances of rain. In Lahore, the temperatures are likely to soar up to 47 degrees.

In contrast, Lahore will continue experiencing hot and humid weather, as temperatures will go up to 47 degrees centigrade. According to meteorologists, there will be hot and dry weather, which will be sunny with no chance of precipitation.

Residents of Islamabad will have hot weather with haziness and sunshine, as weather experts predict that temperatures will go up to 40 degrees centigrade. There will be strong winds, but there will not be any precipitation even then.

Meteorologists predict that there will be a continuation of the heatwave even on the occasion of Eid al-Azha, as there will be no significant chances of precipitation in these cities.

Citizens are advised to refrain from going out during the peak sun hours.
