KARACHI: In the 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by a huge margin of 159 runs.
In the match played in Karachi, Karachi Kings won the toss and invited Peshawar Zalmi to bat first. Peshawar Zalmi set Karachi Kings a target of 247 runs to win thanks to the brilliant innings of Babar Azam and Kaushal Mendis.
Kushal Mendis played a brilliant innings of 109 runs while Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 87 runs off 51 balls.
Babar Azam and Kaushal Mendis formed the biggest partnership in PSL history. The pair built a partnership of 191 runs for the second wicket.

Karachi Kings were bowled out for 87 runs in response to a target of 246 runs. Azam Khan of Karachi Kings was the top scorer with 25 runs.
Naheed Rana, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Sufyan Muqeem took three wickets each for Peshawar Zalmi.
