Momina Iqbal, the Pakistani actress, has said that she and her family are in danger and that their safety is at risk, causing concern among her fans and people on social media. Taking to her official Instagram account, the actress shared the disturbing claims and urged authorities to intervene immediately.
Momina, who has delivered strong performances in hit dramas such as Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, Ehd-e-Wafa, and Do Kinaray, said she has been facing prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, and threats to her life. She said the alleged harassment was linked to a political figure linked to the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
The actress in her Instagram story alleged that she had approached various institutions, including the Federal Investigation Agency and Punjab Police, but no meaningful action was taken. She also said there might have been political manipulation in how complaints against her were handled.
Momina also said that after she raised her voice publicly and took it to the courts, the situation became worse, and threats were allegedly made against her family as well. She called on the relevant authorities to ensure a transparent investigation and to provide prompt protection.

The actress, who had earlier criticized the former prime minister, had also appealed to Maryam Nawaz Sharif, hoping that fair legal action would be taken against anyone found misusing power or obstructing justice.
Her posts were followed by many social media users expressing their support for the actress and urging the government authorities to take immediate action on the issue. The incident has ignited a firestorm online, with many demanding a fair investigation of her claims.
