TikToker Samiya Hijab harassment & abduction case takes new turn in Islamabad

TikToker Samiya Hijab harassment & abduction case takes new turn in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The alleged harassment and abduction case involving popular TikToker Samiya Hijab has taken a dramatic new turn as fresh evidence has surfaced.

Initially, Samiya Hijab accused a man named Hassan Zahid of stalking her for several days, pressuring her with gifts, and even attempting to forcibly drag her into a car outside her home on August 31. She also claimed he threatened to kill her.

However, the case has taken a surprising twist after Hassan Zahid presented video recordings and transaction records to the police, which he claims prove his innocence. According to Hassan, the allegations are entirely fabricated. He claims he had been giving Samiya Hijab large sums of money over time and has submitted evidence of bank and mobile money transfers to support his claims.

Hassan asserts that he never attempted to kidnap her or made any life threats. He describes the allegations as a “made-up story” and says the real facts are clearly visible in the videos and financial records he has provided to investigators.

Police at Shalimar Police Station had initially registered the FIR based on Samiya Hijab’s complaint and promptly arrested Hassan Zahid. Samiya submitted CCTV footage and a video statement to support her accusations. She maintained that Zahid had been harassing her persistently and trying to coerce her through repeated gifts and threats.

With both parties now presenting conflicting narratives and evidence, the case has become increasingly complicated. Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and further evidence is being collected to determine the truth.

This latest development suggests that significant revelations could emerge as the investigation continues.
