“I Want Babar to Win the Trophy,” Says Shadab Khan

LAHORE: Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan said after the defeat by Hyderabad in Eliminator 2 of PSL 11 that our death bowling needed improvement, Hyderabad Kingsman’s fielding was also very good to save runs.

In the second eliminator of PSL season 11 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Friday, Hyderabad Kingsman defeated Islamabad United by 2 runs after a thrilling match and qualified for the final.

Hyderabad Kingsman scored 186 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Islamabad United’s team could score 184 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs while chasing 187 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.

After the match, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan said in a press conference that Allah had to honor Haneen Shah and he got it. The poor guy had been fighting an injury for a long time, so Allah gave him a chance.

Shadab said that coming back from injury was not an easy task, Haneen always fought, he bowled exceptionally throughout the league.

Shadab Khan said that Hyderabad Kingsmen have good momentum, our death bowling needed improvement, Hyderabad Kingsmen’s fielding was also very good and saved runs.

He said that I also did not have a good hit, I could not get momentum, Haider Ali gave momentum but after that he got out, the good thing is that everyone enjoyed the match.

Finally, Shadab Khan said, “I want Babar to win the trophy. That guy has been trying for a long time. The way Hyderabad Kingsmen are playing, it seems like they are doing poorly.”
