DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominations for the Player of the Tournament award for the T20 World Cup 2026.
Pakistan’s opening batsman, Sahibzada Farhan, is among the nominees who performed brilliantly in the tournament. Sahibzada Farhan scored 383 runs in 7 matches while also scoring two centuries against Sri Lanka and Namibia.
He also became the first player in the world to score two centuries in a single edition of the T20 World Cup.
The other players nominated for the Player of the Tournament include India’s Sanju Samson, England’s Will Jacques, New Zealand’s Richin Ravindra and Tim Seifert, while South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and captain Aiden Markram.
