ISLAMABAD: A major breakthrough is likely regarding the Pakistan-India match in the ICC T20 World Cup.
According to a private TV, a major breakthrough is likely in the next 24 to 48 hours regarding the Pakistan-India match, the ICC has responded positively to the demands of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Various proposals were considered to address the abuses against Bangladesh, the Pakistan Cricket Board acted as a mutual coordinator, ICC’s Imran Khawaja left to seek final approval of the proposals.
The Bangladesh Board President will also brief his government, after agreeing on a mutual formula, the ICC and both boards will contact each other again.
If there is a mutual agreement on the demands, the Pakistan Cricket Board will also contact the government. On the other hand, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates have also requested Pakistan to review its decision.
The final decision regarding the Pakistan-India cricket match will be taken by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistan can play the match by agreeing to its conditions.
