Pakistan clinches Turkmenistan in final of Central Asian Volleyball Championship

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan triumphs over Turkmenistan in the final of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Nations Volleyball League at the Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad, here on Friday.

After a tough contest, Pakistan won the game with a scoreline of 3-1, outclassing the Turkmenistan team.

The Pakistan team remained unbeaten across the league as they secured victories over Sri Lanka, Iran, and other participating teams.

Earlier this week, Pakistani boxer Ilyas Hussain Hazara won the gold medal by defeating Indian opponent Gurjant Singh in the boxing tournament held in Australia.

In the decisive match held in Melbourne as part of the Big Time Boxing Tournament, the young boxer from Quetta overtook Singh in the competition.

He easily defeated the Indian opponent and made Pakistan proud abroad.
