DUBLIN: Pakistan and Ireland will compete against each other in a decider third T20 match in Dublin today.
Ireland clinched a clinical five-wicket victory against visitors in the opening game stunning Pakistan. However, Pakistan staged a remarkable comeback with a seven-wicket victory over the hosts in Dublin.
With both teams winning one match each, today’s game will be important for both sides as it will decide the result of the three-match T20I series.
In the T20I series opener, Pakistan suffered an embarrassing five-wicket defeat as their middle order faltered. But, the second game saw Pakistan’s comeback as green shirts defeated Ireland by seven- wickets on Sunday.

The men in green achieved the target in the 17th over thanks to brilliant performances from Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and Azam Khan.
Yet, Pakistan’s death bowling remains a concern as the likes of Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Amir failed to strict Ireland for low scores.
According to the weather forecast, rain could spoil today’s play and ruin both teams’ chances of lifting the series trophy. According to BBC weather forecast, light rain and winds are expected from 8:00 AM local time which may continue for an hour.
The match will start at 3:00 PM local time and light rain with moderate breeze can be expected. While the rain is likely to stop after some time, the clouds will continue to cover the sky and the rain could return during the second innings.
