LAHORE: The dates for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have finally been announced by the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) Chairman, Mr. Mohsin Naqvi.
While addressing the road show session of the PSL held in New York, Naqvi confirmed that the PSL 11 would commence from March 26, 2026, until May 3, 2026.
He further revealed that “rewarding players is an important area that helps improve their morale.” He also confirmed that the PCB and the management of PSL are “working closely for the betterment of cricket in Pakistan.”
Naqvi brought up some strengths of the league that add to its commercial worth. He mentioned that “Pakistan is home to enormous cricketing talent” and that “the investors of PSL are enjoying tremendous returns.”
This was the first-ever PSL roadshow held in the United States of America. It is a gathering of current national players of Pakistan along with some of the legendary players of Pakistani cricket.
Former cricket captain of Pakistan, Wasim Akram, also spoke on the occasion. He appreciated that the progress of the PSL is the result of collective work. He also mentioned that it is a platform that provides entertainment to people while allowing young players to showcase their talents.
A total of six players from the Pakistani men’s national cricket team participated in the roadshow event. These players were Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, Shan Masood, and Saud Shakeel.
Naqvi was accompanied by former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja and Chief Executive Officer of the PSL, Salman Naseer, on the dais.
