PCB moves to sue Blessing Muzarabani for breach of contract

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to take legal action against Zimbabwean cricketer Blessing Muzarabani for breach of contract.

In the PSL, Islamabad United fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani decided to withdraw from PSL 11 by signing a contract with the IPL. Blessing has a contract with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.

The Zimbabwean cricketer violated the contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board. He signed a contract with the IPL while signing a contract with the PSL.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to take legal action against Zimbabwean cricketer Blessing for breach of contract.

Earlier, Zimbabwean fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani withdrew from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 after being signed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

According to Cricinfo, Mazrabani informed Islamabad United about his decision after signing his contract with KKR on Friday.

Mazrabani replaces Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in KKR, who was released by KKR in December after being bought for 9.2 crore Indian rupees in the 2026 auction on the instructions of the BCCI.

Lahore Qalandars later signed Mustafizur Rahman for the PSL.
