LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will constitute an independent committee to decide player retentions for Multan Sultans ahead of the upcoming season.
The decision on retentions will be finalized before the franchise’s new owners officially take over. The move is aimed at ensuring transparency and continuity during the transition period of ownership.
Meanwhile, the PCB confirmed that the franchise ownership auction for Multan Sultans is scheduled to be held before February 11. Further details regarding the committee and retention process are expected to be announced in due course.
