LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Team Management has been reshuffled once again for the Pro Hockey League. According to sources, after the team was reshuffled for the Pro Hockey League, it has been decided not to take goalkeeping coach Mazhar Abbas.
Sources said that former captain Wasim Ahmed is likely to join the team as a coach, while Australia-based Wasim Ahmed can join the team in Belgium. Sources said that the Pakistan Hockey Squad will consist of 20 players and 5 officials and all travel arrangements have been completed.
Manzoor-ul-Hassan will be the head coach, Wasim Ahmed the coach and Khawaja Junaid the team manager and coach. In addition, Sultan Ashraf will be the video analyst and Fahad Javed will be involved in the team management as a physio.
According to sources, the Pakistan team will hold its last training session in Lahore today and the team will leave Lahore for Karachi on the evening of April 9 and for Belgium on the morning of June 10.
