LAHORE: The auction date for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans has been announced.
According to PSL officials, the auction of Multan Sultans will be held in Lahore on February 9.
A total of 5 bidders will compete for the ownership rights of Multan Sultans, who were selected by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s bid committee.
According to the PCB, a total of 6 proposals were received within the stipulated time, after which 5 bidders were declared technically eligible, who will now participate in the auction.
It should be noted that the former owner of Multan Sultans, Ali Tareen, had refused to renew the 10-year ownership agreement, after which the PCB announced the auction of the franchise.
