Shaun Tait steps down as Bangladesh cricket team’s bowling coach

DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Team’s fast bowling coach Shaun Tait has resigned from his post. According to the cricket website, the former Australian fast bowler has decided to step down from his position due to family reasons.

Shaun Tait said in his statement that the last 12 months spent with the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the national team have been very enjoyable and memorable for him.

He also thanked the board, players and support staff and expressed his best wishes for the future.

It should be noted that the Bangladesh Cricket Board had appointed Shaun Tait as the fast bowling coach and signed a contract with him until November 2027, but he resigned before the end of the term.

Shaun Tait has extensive coaching experience in international cricket, having previously served as bowling coach with the national teams of Pakistan, West Indies and Afghanistan.
