BULAWAYO (ZIMBABWE): South African batter Wiaan Mulder broke the record for most runs in an innings in an away Test match against Zimbabwe, making Test cricket history.
Mulder broke the previous record, which was held by Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan, with an undefeated 369 runs.
For many years, the greatest individual score in an away Test series was 337 runs, which Hanif Mohammad had recorded against the West Indies in 1958.
The biggest individual innings in an away Test series is currently Mulder’s incredible effort.
An important milestone in Test cricket history was reached when South Africa declared their innings at 626 for the loss of five wickets, with Mulder still not out.
