ISLAMABAD: A new feature has been introduced in Instagram, which will greatly improve the process of commenting on the photo sharing app.
Under this feature, whenever you comment on a post and realize that there has been a mistake, you will be able to edit it instead of deleting it.
This new feature was announced by the Meta-owned app.
But users will have to catch the mistake in the comment very quickly.
The company said that you will be able to edit a comment within 15 minutes after posting.
However, you can edit the comment multiple times during this period, there is no limit in this regard.
The method of using this feature is also quite easy.
For this, whenever you post a comment in the Instagram app, an edit option will appear below it.
By clicking on it, you will be able to edit this comment.
When a comment is edited, the edit will be visible to other people below it, but they will not be able to see its history.
If your comment contains text and an image, it will only be possible to edit the text.
According to the company, it will be possible to edit comments on posts as well as on Instagram Reels.
