NEW YORK: WhatsApp, an Instant messaging application, has started testing a version for Apple Watch.

According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, through this app, Apple Watch users will be able to see messages and media in the WhatsApp chat list, send new messages without waiting for notifications, and send message reactions using emojis.

In addition, users can send audio messages in this version and write messages through voice input.

However, to use it, the Apple Watch must be connected to an iPhone with WhatsApp.

This version of the app can be obtained by installing the WhatsApp beta version 25.32.10.71 for iOS.

Earlier, WhatsApp is soon going to introduce the facility to set a profile cover photo for all its users.

This feature was previously available only to WhatsApp Business users.

According to Webeta Info, in the new update of WhatsApp, users will be able to upload a cover photo through their profile settings, just like how a cover photo is set on Facebook or LinkedIn.

The selected image will appear at the top of the user’s profile, which will give the profile a more personal and unique look.

The app is also adding privacy settings for the cover photo, which will have options for My Contacts, No Body, and Everyone.

This feature is in the testing stages in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.32.2, which is available on the Google Play Beta Program.

It’s not currently active for all users, but its availability shows that the Meta-owned company is working on new features to make WhatsApp more personalized and beautiful.
