Met Office forecasts dry, cold weather across most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted dry and cold weather in various parts of the country.

Today, the weather is likely to be dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be cold in the mountainous areas in the morning and at night.

Due to continuous dry weather and air pollution, various districts of Punjab are expected to be affected by smog, and citizens have been instructed to take precautionary measures.

The weather is likely to be dry and cold in Islamabad and its surroundings, and the weather is expected to be dry in Murree, Galiyat, and its surroundings.

According to the Meteorological Department, smog is expected to remain in Lahore, Gujranwala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Faisalabad, Sialkot, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bahawalpur.

The weather is likely to be dry and cold in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan; the coastal areas of southeastern Sindh are expected to be partly cloudy.

The weather is likely to remain cold and dry in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. During the last 24 hours, the weather was dry in most parts of the country, while it was cold in the mountainous areas. Smog prevailed in most districts of Punjab.
