ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed chilly weather at night after which the with light sunlight in the morning. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by gusty winds during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 16 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 07 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 48 to 52% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 5 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 0% today.
According to the Met Office, Rain and snowfall are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree and Gulyat. Meanwhile, rain with strong winds and thundershowers are expected at a few places in northeastern Punjab and the Potohar region. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in some plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night.
