Karachi weather forecast: Citizens to witness hot weather in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in most parts of the country including Sindh during the next 24 hours.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 34°C to 22°C. However, the city will witness a rise in temperatures with partly cloudy weather on Thursday. The humidity in the city varies up to 75% and the air today moved in the northeast direction at the speed of  11 km/h.

Weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, apart from being partly cloudy, there may be light rain with strong winds and thundershowers in a few places.

Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
