KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours, however, temperatures are set to drop at night.
Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 12°C. However, the city will witness a significant drop in temperatures as winter is scattering its roots in Pakistan. The humidity in the city varies up to 29% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 05 km/h.
According to Met Office’s latest predictions, The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be very cold in the mountainous areas at night. However, it will be partly cloudy in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, Gulyat and surrounding areas, with light rain with thundershowers at a few places and snowfall in the mountains. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh at night.
