PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is bracing for rain and thunderstorms, which are expected to lead to a drop in temperature across multiple districts, according to the meteorological department.
While most areas will continue to experience dry and cold conditions, winter is set to intensify in the upper parts of the province, according to Met Office.
Rain with thunderstorms is expected in the districts of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, and Hazara Division. Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Mohmand, Bajaur, and Kurram will be experiencing a similar situation.
Several areas of the province experienced rain in the last 24 hours, with the highest recorded in Lower Dir at 11mm, followed by Kalam at 9mm, Mir Khani at 7mm, and Drosh at 6mm.
