LAHORE: Citizens of Lahore will experience pleasant and light rainfall during the day. Whereas Intermittent monsoon rains with isolated heavy downpours are expected in Lahore and various parts of Punjab at night.
The temperatures have dropped significantly ranging from 26 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius. The humidity varies between 60 to 70 percent, whereas the wind is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 23 km/h.
Moreover, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reports that monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are advancing into the eastern and upper regions of Pakistan, while a westerly wave trough continues to influence the northern areas.
Additionally, monsoon rains are forecasted to affect areas including Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Rajanpur, and Rahim Yar Khan on Tuesday night.
Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, and Hafizabad.
The rainfall is expected to last a week, causing some disruption in the transportation and internet facilities in the city.
