Lahore weather update: Cold wave to hit provincial capital

LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. The weather is likely to remain dry, while there is no potential chance of rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 07 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 19 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 66%.

According to the Met Office, Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while severe cold is expected in the upper areas. Moderate to severe fog is expected in the plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Haze is also expected in Islamabad, Potohar region, Kashmir and some plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the morning hours.

The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be extremely cold at night in mountainous areas.
